2018

15-17 June

Rapport Festival is back in Brixton for its second year.  Taking place in various locations around Brixton between Friday 15th & Sunday 17th June, we’ll be delivering a mixed bill of visual art, theatre, dance, music, cinema and talks & debates focussed on stories and experiences from across the international African diaspora.

THEATRE

DANCE

AKWAABA - by SPOKEN MOVEMENT

Akwaaba– Touches upon a story about going through a collective’s journey to “fetch” water for the tribe. The substance symbolises propaganda, an illusion of need. The feel of this piece is more grounded and generalises the perspective of African culture.

VISUAL ARTS

Eddie Otchere will be delivering a photographic exhibition focussed on what Brixton means to him, along with two days of photography workshops, including a pop up dark room.
